Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how individuals can request deletion of their data in connection with the SIA Ankravs Inc. application WinMessages and the Meta app VivienneBusiness, which are used to process communications through the WhatsApp Business Platform / WhatsApp Cloud API.
1. Who Can Request Data Deletion
Data deletion may be requested by:
- the person whose data has been processed in our system;
- an authorized representative of our customer;
- another person who has a lawful right to submit such a request.
2. How to Submit a Data Deletion Request
To request data deletion, please send your request by email.
In your request, please provide as much accurate information as possible so that we can identify the relevant data:
- the phone number used in WhatsApp communication;
- the message date or approximate conversation period;
- the business or service with which the communication took place;
- any other information that helps locate the relevant record.
3. Identity Verification
Before carrying out a data deletion request, we may ask for additional information to confirm that the request is submitted by an authorized person. This is necessary to prevent unauthorized data deletion.
If identity cannot be reasonably verified, the request may be refused or postponed until additional information is received.
4. What Data May Be Deleted
After receiving a valid request, we may delete or anonymize data related to the specific person, including:
- received and sent messages;
- message metadata;
- webhook event records;
- contact information stored in our system;
- other data related to the specific communication, where technically possible and not contrary to applicable law.
5. When Data May Not Be Deleted Immediately
In some cases, we may not be able to delete all data immediately or in full, for example:
- where data must be retained under applicable laws;
- where data is needed for security, fraud prevention, or incident investigation purposes;
- where data is needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
- where data remains in technical backups until the next scheduled overwrite cycle.
In such cases, the data will be restricted and retained only for as long as reasonably necessary.
6. Review Timeline
We aim to review data deletion requests within a reasonable time. Usually, a response is provided within 30 days from the moment we have received sufficient information to process the request.
If the request is complex or additional verification is required, the review period may be extended, and the requester will be informed.
7. Third-Party Platforms
If data has also been processed by third-party platforms, such as Meta or WhatsApp, information stored by those platforms may need to be deleted according to the relevant platform's terms and procedures. This page applies only to data processed by SIA Ankravs Inc. in its own system.
